I was at a lfs and got some rubble rocks for the rear of wifes 14 biocube..While digging around in the tank for little pieces I found two larger pieces around 4 inches across. They were clean and both looked white colored. They had no signs of any growth or hitch hikers on or in them.. I took them home and put them in my tank..well 2 days later they were alive and have growth that keeps getting better.Could somebody identify what they are?Pretty sure green is a type of Favia but no clue what kind and not sure of brown colored one..Could I get a positive i.d. and lps or sps or what? thanks

Well, SPS and LPS are not very important. But the top pic looks like a Leptastraea sp. bottom looks like a Favites sp.
