i was cleaning out my corner overflow today and found this in there. First thought was tiny clear anemones i find all over my live rock. But those are tiny tiny sinze of pinky finger nail. Then i remembered a torch i had that bailed out of it skeleton like 4-6 months ago. i tried to place the polyp somewhere for it to attach but it never attached and eventually couldn't spot it any more. in the over flow it was completly clear. I placed it in a darker corner of my tank for now to see how it does and what it turn into. Didnt want to shock it with too much light. the tentacles are turning fluorescent green and white tips Kind of like the torch i lost.
ive heard its possible for euphyllia to bail out and try to regrow thier skeleton somewhere else. Not sure likely hood of it living in my overflow for so long with next to no light.
could just be one of those tiny anemones but jumbo from detritus in bottom of corner overflow.
could be a bubble tip anemone i have one for a few months but its never split. I dont know if they spit out babies in open water. Also doesnt have obviouse white tips like this does.
also kind of looks like yuma mushrooms but i only have orange and they dont have coloured tips.
its getting bigger and greener by the minute As it pufs out and tentacles get longer fatter. Ill get better pics tomorow hopefully if it stays put.
