What is this? I'm seeing it pop up all over my rocks. Dealing with a little GHA as well since we were on vacation for a week, but there's this other thicker green stuff too that I'm not sure about.

Probably a Valonia sp. of some variety, though I'm not sure which. It's a type of bubble algae, and most people would probably recommend removal

I've been manually removing as much as I can, but most of it is tiny and short of removing the rock and scrubbing it (which is less than ideal), I'm not sure how else to get rid of it.

Manual removal is probably going to be the most surefire method of removal, but you could try things like urchins, emerald/pitho crabs, Elyisa spp. sacoglossan slugs, etc. That said, none of them are guaranteed to get rid of it (or even eat it at all).

I'll just keep picking at it then and try to remove as much as I can without dismantling my rockwork. I actually have an Elysia crispata (Lettuce Sea Slug) on the way so maybe he'll help me out with it
