I'd safe or not

Found this on my buddy's frags when I was doing a water change. What is it he had turbos and other snails but this had no shell.

I've never seen one of those before. I'd remove it just to be safe. It may harm any coral.

I did never seen before. It was a pretty big size also.

I would say that this is a Stomatella snail. They are actually quite reef safe, as they feed on algae. I find them in my coral tanks all the time from hitchhiking on coral colonies. If I had to guess, I would say that you probably have several of them in your tank as they breed quite a bit in our tanks. Take a look at your glass tonight a few hours after the light go out, I'm sure that you will see some on your glass. Like I said, nothing to really be concerned about, they're just like your other snails that you bought except smaller and faster.

I'll tell him to look thanks guys. I never seen one. Hopefully he has more this one was size of a penny.

I found a really tiny one in my tank, kind of freaked out as well. Did some research and it is a stomatella. They generally eat micro/film algae.

Yup, and it does have a shell; look closer!
