I know this isn't reef related but caught this snake at my front door here in land o lakes Florida any idea what kind it is?!

Red rat snake? I'm no snake expert, although there are a few people on here who enjoy keeping them

Can you get a better photo of it? Nobody is going to be able to tell you what it definitely is from that photo. Florida especially is a hard state to ID snakes from simply because of the pet trade and people letting their snakes go or they escape etc.
Look at these snakes...
Gray Rat Snakes
Pine Snakes
Hognosed Snakes
The shape of the head is what has me concerned, but again the photo is too blurry. The head looks triangular in the photo sort of but the scale pattern looks more like those I suggested.

It's a ratsnake...positive on it. I bet it vibrates its tail when you are close, that is an attempt to mimick a rattlesnake sound. I can guarantee you it does NOT have a venomous snake head, it also doesn't look anything like a hognose snake. A hognose will flair up like a cobra when scares, then roll over and fake dead with its mouth hanging open. It's clearly not a pit viper, which is just a category that most venomous snakes in the us fall into.
It is a ratsnake, there is so many color variations though...take a look at corn snakes, bull snakes, grey ratsnake...all of these are rat snakes with different colors and you'll see it's the same. You could probably scoop it into a pillow sack and trade it in to your LFS, people keep these as pets quite often. It eats mice, small birds, lizards, etc.
