Have some things in the tank I would like ID'ed.
I think this is a tunicate/sea squirt as it has 2 siphons. It used to only have one but it has grown. It is a clear purple.
I believe this may be some form of aiptasia? There is a patch with about 6-10 of these things, the stalks or tube like things are clearish with white spots, and tentacles comes out of them.
This crap is almost everywhere, but it has been slowly decreasing. It is "sticky" in the sense food sticks to it (pellet and shrimp).
No clue about this.
Second time I have found one of these. Yes I know that is a snail, but the thing ON the snail. Today I managed to observe the thing close when I put my hand over it. There is another one larger and more pale on a hermit shell. It is very hard and really stuck on there, and strong, I could not pry it open (but I did not use full strength as I am curious about it). Maybe some sort of scallop?
I have 3 very tiny patches of these brown feathery polyp like things. The polyp things are VERY tiny, only 1 or 2mm.
Pretty sure this is a pineapple sponge, just wanted a confirmation. I have them in my overflow and in my refugium (and all over my chaeto).
Thank you so much for looking!
