Id something growing on live rock

Hello everyone I got a live rock about a week ago and I just noticed about a day ago that that was two things growing on it in the picture below I have them circled in red

My first guess is some kind of sponge or tunicate.
Doesn’t appear to be any type of coral or algae I’m familiar with.

I was also thinking it was a sponge but I haven’t seen one like it maybe it’s a tunicate

With eight distinctive rays, couldn't it be some sort of octocorallian?
