Hi all, looking for some help on identifying these eggs. I reckon they're either Asterina (I get an outbreak from time to time but haven't seen any in months) or the tiny snails you can see in the pic.

The eggs only ever appear on my mushrooms that I can tell (and mostly the red ones with some on the blue)

Welcome to R2R. The second pic seems to be collonista snails. Adults are very tiny. I didn't know if you knew. Asterina eggs are orange colored. As far as the red shrooms, well it looks like some detritus has settled upon it. Sometimes the water currents will pool detritus in certain areas and on top of or between coral polyps. Try to fan the mushroom & see if it blows away. This is my best guess from what I think I'm seeing (when I enlarge the pic, it gets blurry). Post back after fanning the shroom & let us know. Hope this helps.
