So doing water change today and found this on rocks. I feel it's just green bubble algae but it was really hard and last time I saw it was soft and squishy. This was real hard and definitely popped when I squeezed it. Thanks in advance

In 30 years I have never seen an emerald crab eat bubble algae. Not saying they won’t or don’t I just never seen it. I have seen the munch on corals.

I had one once but I didn’t have bubble algae. Rehomed him bc he would occasionally pick at corals.

Don’t kill /squeeze it underwater. Remove them by hand while they are limited. They will turn in a plague.
