ID this Algae please!

We’ve had our tank for about a year now but have been battling this algae and losing badly the past 3-4 months. Can you please help us ID this so we can defeat it or at least manage it? I’m itching to get more corals but want to control this before it takes over.

Also would gladly accept advice on how to treat it! TIA!

Hair algae no? Mexican turbos will munch on that.

IME Mexican turbos will only eat it if it's short. they don't like the long stuff. I had to brush it short before they would eat it. Now they keep rocks spotless.
