Hey guys, so after my girlfriend and I spotted a zoa eating nudi, we took a close look at our tank and noticed these patches of clear mass.... Can I get an ID?

Sponge!

Also comes in other colors I got pink orange black n purple all on the same rock

sign of pure reef tank health that reef went through the test and emerged benthic creature worthy per pics

Any number of ropes, patches of white and clear I find all normal. They often change shapes of the siphon openings overnight in those you show, in mine little thin ropes sometimes come and go it's fascinating

I can tell by the live rock portion of your pics it's thick coralline healthy zos, not got any detritus I bet this reef is moving along the pics are sharp. Flow appears in balance and nutrients, no fine algae seen.

Thanks Brandon! The tank is looking so good now a days. I'm hoping to see some great growth now. I've replaced all my losses, except for the blue green sympodium. Everything recovered well and me and my girlfriend are staying on top of maintenance!
