So that's the same thing as a chalice correct? I am new to the hobby and just got these frags yesterday.
When I picked it out I called it a chalice and the guy at WWC agreed with me. Just looks different than it did in the store.
Do they have a tendency to "curl" up? It looked flat in the store. (These were shipped overnight to me from the Orlando store)
Yup that is a Chalice. 
Which type/fad name I do not know.
It's not curled up, that frag in particular has bumps secondary to the skeletal structure which is normal.
You could have seen a top down image from WWC or the piece was not a WYSIWG.

I picked it out personally in the store, so I watched them pull it from the display. I was looking straight down though and not from an angle.Yup that is a Chalice.
