ID this critter? Good or bad or benign?

I'd search for "hair worm" and see what you find -- I think they're generally considered good but don't quote me on that.

Probably a hair worm - harmless/beneficial.

Looks like either a hair worm (Cirratulidae) or a spaghetti worm (Terebellide) to me - if the tentacles all come out from a single point, it’s a spaghetti worm; if they come out from basically all over the body it’s a hair worm.

I was thinking spaghetti worm but the pin strips resemble limbs from a serpent star

These are definitely hair worms (Cirratulids).

Some incorrectly call them spaghetti worms but those are different creatures (Terebellids).

So theyvare good stuff keep them?

I have 3 big ones scooped and in a jar .. shud i put them back?

Yeah, they're good - not the prettiest, but beneficial for your tank.
