Thank you. We had some new macro algae to feed our tangs. Apparently there were some hitchhikers. We also had tiny brittle stars ride along.

Can anyone ID these critters? I originally noticed them on my leather, it doesn't seem to bother the leather, full extension etc.
One day I found I could blast them off with a turkey baster so now I give them a blast whenever I see many.
Lately I've started noticing them on my glass, they appear like water spots so I'm always trying to wipe them off. They appear white on the glass but brown on the leather and red on my finger.
Anyone know what they are and whether or not they're harmful?

Those are flatworms. You can use Flatworm Exit or get a wrasse that will eat them. Try to eliminate them before they spread.

Look at the bases of your corals especially lps and sps(ive never heard of fw that eat leathers, but could be wrong) if present. This is usually where the problematic species strike first. If on the glass it is also just as likely they are a detritus eating species.

Thanks, Do you know if a Yellow Corvis Wrasse will eat these?

All Halichoeres wrasses can and do eat fw. But there is no guarantee yours will or will eat enough to be the sole solution. I would be prepared for a back up plan. Most fw are very specialized so if eats one genus of coral likely wont eat another a back up plan could be removing the food corals and dipping every 6 days for 4 weeks. Most problematic flatworms have a 21 day hatch time. And a 7 day maturation time. This form of dipping will stop them from breeding anymore.

There is also an in tank treatment released late last year https://www.uwcmn.com/product-page/...a-eating-flatworm-treatment-pre-order-special
