Does anyone know what these things are? I have seen about 3 of them in the rocks.

Mine does not look like that. it's more like a tube

no nothing. it's like a tube. I was messing around with the flow, let it settle in and will check and see if anything sticks out ina few hours

I also think its a vermitid snail. They don't move, but they release a web when there is food or particles in the water around them and then real it in to eat. If it is a vermetid snail and if you only have one I would crush it with a pair of needle nose pliers. I have them all over my tank and they are annoying cause their webs will irritate coral and stuff.

oh man i think you guys right.. i do see a few black ones on the rocks. i have few like 5-7

+1 on vermetid. Some ppl super glue the tips. I have some on my rocks but they haven’t gotten out of control yet. One of those things on my to do list.
