Looked at my tank and noticed what looks like spots of reddish tint. Turned my whites on to get a better glimpse and dont know if its just my imagination, my paranoia, cyano or just coralline lol.
Be aware I've been dealing with a GHA bloom. Tank is 1 year old. Softies and LPS. Have 4 fish. Been noticing some nice coralline showing up in the last few months. GHA was a little out of control, so dosed a scant amount of vibrant (0.5 mL per Gallon, instead of 1 every 2 weeks). Which im discontinuing this water change.
Parameters:
Temp -- 76.6
Nitrate -- 5 salifert
Phos - 0 or 0.03 (this one is hard to tell with salifert.
DKh -- 8.3

when I had one tank running for 2 years and a mini crash in the middle, the algae started to settle off after a couple months tbh. Once I got all my equipment, and the ideal setup I wanted there was little to no algae and no growth except for my chaeto. From my experience. Once you go on a year, and you have everything (equipment wise) you plan to put on it, a month maybe two and SPS, coralline, you name it. Explosive.
