Noticed this hiding in my torch, wondering what it is, thanks!

Is it stationary or does it move? It's probably just some sort of sponge. If you want to get rid of it just use some tweezers and see if you can remove it from the skeleton. GL.

On a side note; be careful taking corals like this out of the water. That tissue they have holds a lot of weight and when you remove the coral from the water it can cause the tissue to rip away from the skeleton quite easily. There's just nothing supporting that weight anymore.

not sure, i just noticed it while the head was retracted, the other heads were fully open. its fairly hard but not as hard as the skeleton

removed it, think it was a sponge just close to tissue and annoying it. yeah i probably should have waited more but after 10 minutes of trying to get it to close up i got impatient. thanks again
