ID this little red thing please

1) looks like GSP
2) looks like clove polyps
3) some kind of mushroom

No expert in soft corals though.
I appreciate it I came home from work and was told there was a surprise in a box for me and lo and behold there they were drip aclimated them for 3 hrs and put them in

The star polyps I would isolate. They will cover everything. Great coral but can be invasive. Place on a rock away from all other rocks or place in the sand. Easy to keep trimmed.

So I took your advice and moved the rock work around and the corals too the yellow Tang was not happy until I created another cave for him( think it's a him) hope I did right.

Ya you did right. They are gorgeous especially under black light but they are invasive. You’ll love them inspite of themselves. They can’t help they are a gsp. :D

I agree on montipora. Here's my 2 batches zoomed in on with all blues on an no whites. Looks almost identical. I have some GSP. In one of those pics. But it's actually my urchins hat. He wears the gsp like a crown. Actually both my urchins do and one also wears pulsing xenia. I am scared they are going to spread gsp through the whole tank like a marine version of Johnny Appleseed. Doug, an island of its own is a good thing for gsp. You'll be happy you did it. Later you can decide if you want more chunks of it in other places. I've heard people glue pieces to their back class and let it grow over the glass instead of coraline algae. It sounds like it would be really pretty.

Sign, it is funny, but for real could take over the tank. I have 2 polyps on rocks that I didn't put there. I know the urchins ate my clove polyps, I'm hoping if they spread it they will eat the star polyp too! Lol.

The GSP will do well on it's little island and cover it fairly quickly (a few months). I put a clump that was just barely covering a frag plug in my tank a little over a month ago, on a smallish rock. It has spread to cover about half the rock in that time. You might want to consider doing the same thing with the clove polyps as I've read they can be a bit of a headache too, although I personally have no experience with them.
