I have a rock of WWC purple center green star polyps it's about a 3" rock covered with them. One day they closed up tighter then a drum and would not open. While closed up I noticed a lot of detritus and/or algae build up on the mat in-between each of the heads. I thought that might be why so I did a 60 second dip in 3% hydrogen peroxide and then rinsed and put back in the tank. 3 days go by and still closed up tight. I then did a 10min Bayer dip mixed at 5ml per cup. Rinsed and placed back in my tank. After the dip I noticed a few microscopic bugs and one (see photo) critter that I need help to ID. I am convinced that it is the culprit and why they closed up. Since the dip they have opened back up and are in top shape. Please help me figure out what this is.
I put the critter on a steak knife for photo. Use teeth for size reference. I'd say it was about 1/8 long.

i can't quite make out his details in the pic, he is a type of crustacean, but i highly doubt he is harming your corals

do you have a magnifying lens?

I do but can't get it to focus any close than what you see. All I know is that the coral was closed up tight for over a week and after I dipped it it was open within hours.
