It is thin and wispy but I didn’t blow it off (yet). I didn’t know Cyano had tentacles like that?

Those look like hydroids poking through it.

Yeah looks like cyano and hydroid polyps. From my knowledge, hydroid populations will vary based on current nutrient levels. Best of luck with the cyano :/

Cyano with colonial hydroids... You really want to get the hydroids out before they spread...
