My buddy was getting out of the hobby and I got a lot of cheap coral from him. Some of the frags have this on them... Looks like calupera maybe?

Pull the rock out and scrap everything off except the coral ;) Even a hungry tang would help :)

Sure its going away? If your system runs very low on nutrients it will kill it off, if its Caulerpa.
but if its Bryopsis, thats a different story. Keep an eye on it, real close.

A buddy gave it to me who had bad phosphate problems.. I just tested my water today and it's 0's across the board. I'm starting to think it could be bryopsis. Any recommendation on getting rid of it?

I had one frag come to me with a little Bryopsis. I manually pulled it off and then completely covered the area in super glue gel. Never has come back (knock on wood) and it's been about 9 months.

I didn't even think to use glue, what a good idea. Thanks man

I have it on a frag of zoas can I dip them in peroxide. I read some one was using to get rid of algae.
