ID this tube worm please

I’ve noticed several over the past 6 months. This one was hanging out deep in a coral colony. Obviously much larger than a Vermetid snail. The worm inside reminded me of bristle worms but much thinner and smaller.
 
Unless you can show me something sticking out the end of it, or the body of the worm, I have to believe that’s a vermetid snail of the big a** variety.
Challenge accepted. Good news is that I know where to find more.
 
That's awesome! I'd say that's a vermitid snail... and that's one great way to rid yourself of one. Always wondered what they look like inside... mystery solved!
I usually take a pair of hemostats to them or glue them shut. I might have to rethink my strategy...
