ID this? what is this worm like thing waving around!??

Recently got this frag and when i dipped it i pulled off this "worm like thing". looks like a clove polyp without a head. whatever it is has grown back. it waves around like a flailing arm. sorry about the picture it is at the back of my tank under rock work.

Can you provide a pic with whites on to aid in ID, please?

A whiter picture might help possibly even zoom in a little more if possible .
Is it a hard calcified tube structure with a worm sticking out ?
has it moved from the original location ?

Seems stationary. Doesn’t retract into anything. Don’t think it has a calcified base. I’ll try for a better picture

what ever it is had retracted into something i can't see or was munched in half by one of my critters. who knows. a mystery for now i guess. My lighting program is messed up and i can't switch to whites. keeps saying it can't connect so no photo for now i guess.

Pulled it off, might grow back but it seemed to be bothering the clove frag
