Candy Apple Reds, or Bowsers.
I apologize, new to the hobbie. I was focusing on the pink tentacle part, is the names of zoa based on the inside/mouth coloration ,and the tentacles vary in color?Candy Apple Reds, or Bowsers.
The entire polyp. There are some strains that are very close but differ only slightly, so the skirt, center and overall coloration are all used to distinguish.I apologize, new to the hobbie. What do you look for when identifying zoas? Pls
Thanks for the info. Seems complicated. LolYou need to look at the colors as a whole- mouth, margin and skirt. Given the subjective nature of naming and certain strain’s ability to morph it takes awhile to really see enough stuff to know what you’re looking at. It also takes awhile to figure out what’s OG, a rebrand, and to determine which names are widely recognized vs one-offs from certain vendors. Best was to get started is with Google images but even then there’s a certain amount of misidentification.
Thanks for the info. Seems complicated. Lol
