Hello everyone, I picked up 5 frags from LFS today. When I asked what they were,I got a different answer every time he opened his mouth. I know the pictures are not the best;

first one looks like a browned out favia the second a spec of something third maybe a digita? the forth I dont know looks lke colonial coral that comes on caribbean liverock

I agree with number 1 being a favia, third I was thinking of a stag horn. #2 is bright blue and looks like extremely small polyps. I'm gonna try to get better pictures.

#2 is a sympodium... First one is as no namer favia, I dont think the third is a stag, probably a digita IMO. Last one is a red zoanthid. They actually have a harder darker shell compared to the other type in there family.

The first is actually Favites, and it's not browned out. It looks fine.

Second is a blue smudge? Really small and really blurry pics make it impossible to say, but I think the Sympodium was a good guess so far.

The third might be an Acropora species. Picture is too blurry to even say for sure.

The last is unique. And for the life of me I cannot remember what it really is. It is closer to a Parazoanthus than your typical Zoanthids. I believe they are non-photosynthetic so make sure they get fed. If I think of the species i will post it up.

Thanks for the info. I am going to keep researching the last one. I did target feed this afternoon and it really perked up. Best way to describe them is dark tubes with maroon eyelashes. The blue one is just too small. We seen the bright blue and decided it was worth the $5 to see what it does.
