ID weird hair algae that's not hair algae

Anybody know what this is, and ideally what nano compatible creatures might eat it?

It's far thicker than hair algae or bropysis, and the little stems are quite stiff. They don't move much in water flow. Also they don't seem to grow larger than this, also it is anchored into the sand making removal a real nuisance.

I've searched many reef algae lists and not found it.

It looks like kind of bubble algae but instead of bubble is larg shape, you can try Vibrant, it killed all the valonia in my tank rather quick but dont miss water changes during the treatment couse when it dies, it relieces nutrients to the water and couse ciano or other algae bloom. Caulerpra rosmaca. As it grows it will form grape like clumps will control nitrates and phosphates I would add a tang at a later date. I would let this grow. I had it in my first marine tank came in on some Fiji live rock. Pulled it off the rock and the tangs ate the rest.

Pretty sure a tang is not nano compatible.
