Bump for any seahorse keepers out there. That's a beautiful seahorse. My wife and I always wanted to set up a seahorse and pipe fish only tank.

How can you tell if it was collected or tank bread? Just asking for my own information for later on. It was sold to me as a TR erectus but wasn't sure or not.

Oh, I can’t. For some reason when I posted, I thought it was collected from the wild. Looking back I’m not sure why I thought that.

Ah. I wish there was a good way to tell. These guys are easy to breed and rase I feel like WC horses should be something only breeders should get to expand bio-diversity in the trade

I agree. I know that during the summer seahorses can be seen in bays by me. Many times people try collecting and raising them.

If it is a North Eastern Horse which it does look like. Breeding them will be hard and next to impossible. I tried about 20 times and cant seem to get them to stay alive longer then 3-5 days.
