I have been googling scopion fish but couldn't see anything like it. Do you know what kind ? So they can only stay by themselves?
Scorpion fishes are a large group. This is one of the anglers.

That is a Rhinopias eschmeyeri, a scorpionfish. I have a rhinopias frondosa, a cousin, this is the best write up I have found on these guys: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/rhinopias-scorpionfish-care.633562/
If I saw that, it would be mine, expect to pay between $275 and $450. Make sure it is not in a system with copper or any other meds, at a lfs, should be in their invert system. Check carefully for signs of internal parasies, will not handle any meds from my experience.

wow thanks for they great info ! I wish I asked a price for curiosity as they knew it was a scorpion fish but not what kind. May have to message them in the morning lol

from the picture would you say he looks "happy" lol and healthy?
If it is super cheap it may be best to pass. They do come in with internal parasites very frequently and from my experience you will not be able to save them. It will not tolerate general cure or prazipro and metro, and if it does will likely die shortly afterwards. Inspect the tank carefully for stringy poo, literally use a magnifying glass.

I have sent them a message asking how much, they dont know what kind of scorpion fish he is so I think that could be the reason he might be cheap if so ? I might also ask them how long they have had him to?
If they have had him for at least 4 weeks and have not been feeding him dying and diseased fish from their stock, that's the reason so many of them come in with internal parasites. They will always come in eating live food only and will be challenging if not impossible to convert to a dead only diet. They should be feeding him live mollies or live ghost shrimp if they haven't been able to get him to get him to eat silversides or such dead food. For temporary rosies would be preferred to salt water fish that could be diseased or poisoned by copper or other meds. If you are confident you could just imspect his tank for possible parasites and examine his overall well being and make a decision or ask what they are feeding him and wait a few weeks while examining him. I lost one in qt I paid $450 so I know 1st hand.
