I just saw this thing for the first time tonight. Any idea what it is? I have not out anything new in tank for a few months at least. It’s the worm like thing on bottom.
Thanks in advance if anyone knows!

Its a Polychaete worm of some sort. Hard to tell from the picture just what it is. Could be a harmless bristle worm, don’t think it’s a fire worm, could possibly be a bobbit (but I’m thinking it’s not). Can you get a pic with stretched out or a close up of its face.

Here is a close up if it helps. Definitely not a bristle worm. Could it be a fan worm without its shell or whatever they live in by chance?

You know, now that I look at it, those little brown flaps on its head do kind of look like the flaps that feather duster worms have. Do you have any larger feather dusters? If you Google ‘feather duster worm without tube’, some of the photos look similar, but it’s still hard to say if that’s what it is for sure.

Looks an awful lot like a star fish leg.

Starfish leg is interesting too. I don’t have one on there and not sure how it could have gotten in there. After some research I’meaning towards a feather duster worm or whatever those are called.
