It looks to be curved with a small tucked tail, blue eye, almost “jumping” around, and attracted to light

Photo not clear but ampripods are curved and shrimp looking like so curved tail.well basically what I'm saying is sounds like you describing an ampripod buy going need better picture sorry.
But look ampripod online and see if that's what you seeing.

Edit: is it one or many ?
Is it/ they on the glass / sand or rocks ?

Looks like whatever you trying to show is on glass in first picture but not sure on other pictures ha ha

It’s really hard to get a good picture of these guys they were so small.

They were grouped together on the sand bed, probably 40-60 of them.

I feed live brine shrimp to this tank daily, when I noticed these little guys was after I saw a large cloud of brine shrimp in the front corner of the tank, attracted to an outside light source. The brine were grouped maybe 3 inches above the UID group

I just looked up ampripods, it looks similar to that but these guys were much larger than bbs and even larger than isopods

Much larger than isopods hey ? Ha ha look up giant isopods and see what comes up,they bigger than a man pffft.wpuld share picture but think site still having problems

Well this one over a foot long she says but sure I seen one bigger hanging up off a boat ir something like that

2.5 feet one was so I retract bit about big as a man but they still huge and I know you wasn't on about bigger than these ,was joke obviously but these bugs in our tanks sure do fascinate me indeed
