Greetings r2r, would like to know the id, such a beautiful fish but can rarely see on the market, seems to be some kind of wrasse?

That is a female Feminine wrasse, Anampses femininus. They are highly active fish that need a deep sand bed to sleep in at night and wouldn't be happy in a tank smaller than 100 gallons. Definitely a cool fish, but definitely not one for a beginner.

This is a juvenile Anampses femininus and is among if not the hardest of Anampses species to own. They generally come in with parasites, refuse to eat and just never settle properly.
