.I have 23 gallon nano that I was thinking of making strictly softys .mostly mushrooms. Looking to put higher end unique mushrooms in .. Everytime I put them in my big tank they would detach and I loss them thats why I'm leaning towards the smaller tank for shrooms...whats the ideal setup for them ..I have a kessil 360w on the tank ..any tricks to getting them to grow out.do you feed them ? Add any special amino or liquids?..

Yumas can be acclimated to higher lighting. For feeding, I recently tried Hikari coralific delite based on recommendation from @Katherine Corals I think. They have a whole thread on shrooms and might be able to give you some pointers.
Thank you Kasrift for the honorable mention :)
I have an entire write up on how I care for my shrooms, that can be found on "Mushroom corals are my first love ;)"
Ive never tried the Hikari coralific delight, but typically shrooms are very good eaters and not too picky. I am currently using Fauna Marin LPS pellets, after I initiate the feeding reaction by basting a little amino acid/phyto blend. I feel once the shroom is curling up, ready to consume food, I then place a pellet or two directly in the "basket" and that preventls it from floating away or a fish stealing it.
If your mushrooms are detaching, 9/10 times its because your flow is too aggressive. Almost all of my mushrooms with the exceptions of bigger ones, are placed in a cage, medicine cup, or basket with the top/lid off.
If youre looking for some real nice, expensive shrooms to add into your collection, shoot me a DM, or add me on FB.

Must have been from someone else, but I did read through your mushroom lovers thread and gave you a follow on Instagram. You have great info and I just started getting into shrooms. Got 4 recently within the last two weeks and excited to hear from others on best care tips.
