I have recently added some coral to my 400l tank, a really nice hammer and two separate colonies of zoas.
They seem to be doing well, hammer is fully out daily until lights out, zoas are looking the same as they did when they were in the shop.
I have tested my levels this morning

Salinity- 1.026
Calcium- 400
Mag-1480
Alk- 9

Ive noticed other posts saying the ideal levels should be different, and seems to vary. Should I just leave it as they are considering my coral seems to be doing fine?

If it's not broke, no need to fix it. Our system are all different and most will say look at your system more so then relying on tests;)

Your parameters all seem to be within the normal range. It all depends on the corals you want to keep. If your corals look happy then don't change a thing. Stability is key! Keep your levels stable and you should be fine.

OK thanks for the advice I'll attempt to keep them at this level. Do I do this by dosing once the levels start to change? Or will just standard water changes keep these levels.
