Ideas for a 20-40 gallon tanks

So a friend is looking into getting a tank. Wants something lower maintenance, mostly soft and lps coral. I have some ideas but have a bigger tank so was wondering what some of yall have going on.

What equipment, what live stock, and what kinda maintenance route do you have going on
 
40b DT with 20L sump. i run socks, marine pure blocks/balls and chaeto. reef octopus classic 110sss skimmer. hydra 32hd with reef brite xko h26. sicce return pump rated for ~600gph but i have it set lower to match my drain. have never done a WC. i just test weekly and dose accordingly.

live stock:
1x Midas Blenny
1x Yasha Goby
1x Red Banded Pistol Shrimp
1x Skunk(Red Banded) Cleaner Shrimp
1x Court Jester Goby
1x Yellow Coris Wrasse
2x Firefish Goby

1x Fighting Conch
1x Tiger Conch
1x Zebra Turbo Snail
2x Bumblebee Snails
1x Feather Duster
1x Red/White CoCo Worm Duster
2x XL Nassarius Snails
4x Trochus Snails
6x Cerith Snails
4x Red Legged Hermit Crab
4x Blue Legged Hermit Crab

about 25 corals. mainly zoas, but it’s a mixed reef.

More corals + less bio load (especially softies) size of the tank doesn’t matter.
 
20 g AIO. No skimmer, no fuge, weekly water change. Easy breezy. Great way to get into the hobby without being overwhelmed by tech and additives. Check my build thread if you like.
