I have a 56 column tank FOWLR that currently has an aqua clear hob filter. No sump. I don't want to tear it all down to drill holes. The tank is doing Awesome coralline everywhere no algea. The tank is very established. What could other filter options be for me. Is there some kind of setup that can be in the tank completely? Thanks for any input!

There are several options that hang off the back of the tank. skimmers, refuges and the like. If you wanted a sump it would be easy enough to put an HOB overflow on the back and lead it down to the sump.
