I have a powder blue in my 210g and have no idea how to catch him. I can't move the rocks cause most of them are glued together. Iv tried so hard to catch him. Iv use a few nets and even tried when the lights are off. I just don't know how to get him out of there.

I've seen these fish traps on the internet only the other day.
I guess you entice him in with some food.
Let us know if you have any luck

Fish traps with some food inside and u will cath him if he eats seaweed put some or if u don't have I caught fis with a large enough clear glass jar

I have used the mirror trick before just place in top corner and when it comes up net itnot saying it will always work but has for me

I built a drop door fish trap to catch a six line. Worked like a charm. I tried the bottle trick but didn't work for me. I put the drop door trap in the tank and fed the fish through a hole in the top and when the six line came in just dropped the door on him. Actually kind of fun. Do a search on youtube for mr. Saltwater tank fish trap

It doesn't seem to sleep. I can look in the tank at any time and it always seems to be active.

I've done it a couple ways. Best was making a simple trap using a panel of egg crate propped in a corner of the tank. I would either raise it up off the bottom a few inches or open a gap in one of the sides, and then repeatedly place food in that area. The fish are reluctant at first but eventually they all succumb to the temptation and go behind it to get the food, when the panel can be dropped to trap the fish. I trapped a horrible lemonpeel angel several times that way. After the first time you could tell he knew what was up but still could not help himself.

Many years ago I used elastic hair nets stretched across openings in the rockwork to catch a mean damsel. They become invisible under water and chasing the fish around the tank a bit got him caught quickly.

Soda bottle fish trap works really well, unless the fish is to big to fit in a 2 liter.

you can rest a net in the tank on the rocks for several days so they get used to it and when you feed put the food in near the net. after several days hold the net in one hand hear the corner of the tank dropping a tiny bit of food around the net. And when it gets near drop some food directly into the net and he'll run right in for the food. I did this with a trigger and it was so easy.
