I'm thinking about changing my scape but I have no clue what to change it to. Rn it's just something basic. I plan on upgrading but for now I wanna get a different scape.

I can't really tell what type of coral you have or what you're going for. A general recommendation would be to look at some youtube videos on aquascaping to get some tips. Generally I think most people agree that it's best to use a somewhat open design where it's not simply rocks piled on each other but an attempt to create open space between/around the rocks to allow for flow and avoid detritus build-up. The best way to do this would be to connect the rock with mortar (such as the e-marco mortar). If you don't have a good amount of rock in your sump this could cause problems since some of the bacteria will die off when you remove the rock (depending on how long). I don't see Acropora in the pic but if you do have it or plan to that would definitely influence how you do the aquascape. If no coral will be on the rock then you're mainly looking for hiding places, tunnels etc.. for fish, but either way the mortar helps with the open space. You could also move some of your existing rock to your sump, then use mortar on new rock, assuming you don't have a good amount in your sump already.
