Hi. As the title says, i am trying to figure out how to install 2 black box led's over my 75 gallon tank without hanging from the wall/ceiling. Does anyone know of any products designed to do this or have a simple diy option?Pictures and links would be great. I also have a 4' t5 that currently sits on the edges of the tank that i need to incorporate as well. Ideally i could somehow have a shelf that could hold the 2 led boxes next to each other either in front of or behind my t5 fixture. Thanks for any help.

Could build a lightweight frame to support it. That one sat directly on the tank. It's not very pretty, but that was a temporary solution, while I was finishing a build.

Are you looking for some kind of brace or mount that attaches to the tank or tank stand? I know a lot of folks used pipes that are bent at 90 degs then braced to the back part of the tank stand.

This may not be an option for you but this is what I did with my back box using a TV mount..

I’m taking a plywood and screwing it into my stand and then going over the tank and back to the other side of the tank for my t5 fixture. I’ll post pics next week when I should be done

Design something simple and get a metal shop to fab it up for you. shouldn't cost to much if you keep it simple

I used 3/4" metal conduit for my two box lights over my 75. They work like a charm and weren't difficult to make at all. Just get the conduit, bend them into an L for each light with the appropriate conduit bender (can be returned after using if you like, they are around $32 at Lowe's or HD), drill a hole into each L where the light will hang, and slip an eyelet screw (the actual name of this bolt slips my mind) through the hole and secure it with the included nut. Pictures should be mainly self-explanatory. If you have any questions on it just let me know.
Everything was spray painted black afterwards.

I used a dual monitor mount off Amazon. The first picture shows how it's mounted to a post behind the aquarium stand, had to swap out a leaky tank. Second pic shows just the one fixture mounted when I was first setting it up.
