That’s awesome! How did you attach the pipe to the feeder stand? Also, I’m guessing the pipe is PVC, right? If so what is diameter?Simply rest it on the Euro Bracing.....first image.

The only thing I don't like about this is proximity to the water, and popping bubbles lightly wets the feeder. I've had two Eheim feeders crap out on me, and blame closeness to the water. I've since mounted the feeder up high on a shelf. The pipe acts as a feeding ring.

This would prevent much of my food flow ties heading to the sump![]()
Yeah, trying to find something. The food doesn't sink right away and a feeder ring is not long enough
Compounding my issue is the mesh screen keeping my wrasses from carpet surfing.Yeah, trying to find something. The food doesn't sink right away and a feeder ring is not long enough
Do you have a link to where this person talked about this? Super intrigued and would like to see more about it!!I know someone who mounted their auto-feeder in the sump. They had it empty into a funnel that went to a line of pipe that led to the intake for the return pump. The food sank down the pipe, got picked up by the return pump, and dispersed in the tank from the return output. It was actually kind of neat!
I’ve seen this done as well! Awesome idea. The one I saw had the ATO RODI line enter the funnel as well so it would wash off any residual food. This mod is definitely something I’d consider if my sump area was bigger.I know someone who mounted their auto-feeder in the sump. I first saw this from Reefdudes.Do you have a link to where this person talked about this? Super intrigued and would like to see more about it!!
I'll see if I can dig it back up, it's been a while.Do you have a link to where this person talked about this? Super intrigued and would like to see more about it!!
Here's what I originally saw like a year ago. I like the adea of rinsing out the line, prob can split a line from your ato to rinse everytime it topped off.Do you have a link to where this person talked about this? Super intrigued and would like to see more about it!!
This whole concept is geniusI just have mine mounted to the rim of my sump directly over my return pump. I use brs pellets and they sink right into the hole in the return pump. Easy peezy.
