Ideas to diffuse/shade T5

Lol yes im back on this again.
Really don't want to take reflectors out so looking for other ideas.
Will a standard flourescent light cover diffuse and shade par or amplify it?

This is the stuff used in my LED diffusers.
Do you have a bulb/lens cover on your t5 fixture?
If so just slide this above the cover.

No sir I have the aquatic life 36".
I was thinking about taking a standard T5 cover and retrofitting it. I have no idea what that would do by itself. I'm just looking to knock the par back a little so I don't get so much spread where it meets my led on the floor.
It seems this would work along with a cover if needed!

Here....buy these.
Clear tubes for t5 bulb. 3ft length.
And slip the diffusion paper into the tube.
Youll never know it was there!!!
