Identification Help Please

Free coral on live rock but I have no clue what it is. Id needed for the coral bottom center. At night it retracts. Often you can only see the head and it spreads over the rock.

Have any closer pictures and some under whiter light will help in determining ID.

Kinda looks like a very unhappy jawbreaker mushroom

Looks more like a rhodactis to me.

It has never had much color and at times it is a little transparent. It rode in on rock from the Gulf of Mexico.

In relooking you're probably right a younger rhodactis seems more likely not a discosoma
