Identification help white ball growing

I have two of these growing on one of my plugs attached to a mushroom and one growing between some rocks. I’m not sure what they are.

Agreed - pineapple sponges. Harmless filter feeders that are common in newer tanks. They typically boom in population and then go away on their own after a while.

These are derived from silicates and favor shaded area of tank and with low flow. They as mentioned soon dissolve and are gone and feed mainly off algaes
