Some type of clove/polyp is growing on my utter chaos frag..I thought it was aiptasia at first, but looking closer it does not look like any anemone I have seen..whatever it is the utter chaos is closing up. All other corals are doing fine. Any ideas?

Looks like clove polyps...very invasive.

Ok, yes looks like clove polyps, just did some more research..I read they do not sting and will lose any battle with corals with sweeper tentacles. My only worry is that they are bothering the paly which does not have sweepers. I like my zoos/palys better than these cloves, and I have alot of zoos/palys. I was pest free for awhile but got some new frags..looks like dipping wont do much to the cloves.

Nope wont help. But you can remove the zoas from the plug and reglue them to a new one...
