Help Identifying what we got going on around his fin,
Chin, and maybe something below the fin?
Note:
1) The fin has been split since I got him.
2) Test show zero ammonia, zero Nitrite, 5-7 Nitrate
3) I do believe the ato got stuck on and salinity did drop from 1.025- 1.023
4) My clowns have been fighting but this joker has been the more aggressive.
5) He eats and been eager to eat actually chases down food more actively then other clownfish.
Been in tank around 30days.
Thanks for any help/thoughts

Is there another clown in the tank?
What other occupants?.
Looks like this is damage from bites or fighting and tissue damage. generally this could heal on its own but if there is an aggressor, it will become further damaged.
Safe to use and help in case of infection would be Ruby rally rally pro. It is reef safe but also assure good water quality is provided,
If youre not sure about aggressive tankmate, simply take your cell phone and set on video mode for about 45 mins and walk away (must walk away) and come back and review and you will then know.
Isolation in an acclimation box will be important at this point for protection of clown

While it does look like an injury, you’re saying this is the more aggressive fish, plus the rapid breathing I see means something else may be going on here.
There is an internal fungal disease, Icthyophonus hoferi that can grow internally and the erupt in lesions like this. It isn’t treatable though.
The other option is just damage from fighting, but that rapid breathing doesn’t line up with that.

Yes there is another clown. Would you place the injured fish or the other in isolation? Would it be less stress for the injuries guy to have free roam?

Yes two clowns only. They did fight but he was usually the aggressor.

If Icthyophonus hoferi is the case would that be diffrent than actual Ich in the sense it’s not curable? Contagious? Options? Thanks for the input.

Ichthyophonus has a similar name to ich, but it is a fungus, not a protozoan. There isn't any known treatment for this. Without a microscope there isn't any way to tell for sure if it is that or not though, just speculation on my part.
