Hello All,
I wanted to see if anyone can help me try to determine what kind of algae this might be. I don't know if its dino or diatoms. I plan on doing the coffee filter test late this week to determine if its dino. I don't have a microscope so I can't do it that way. I was recently away and was unable to have someone feed my fish nor didn't have an auto feeder. When I came back this is the algae I saw.
I did a water change and it keeps coming back. I try to blow it off and let the filter floss catch what it can. I have a history of low nitrate and phosphate since I started this tank.
I will be buying either microbacter7 or copepods to help with this. Does anyone have any recommendations? Any help would be appreciated and hoping its not dinos.
These are the only tests I've ever do on this tank.
Phosphate: 0.01ppm
Nitrate: 2.5ppm
Salinity:1.025
Temp: 77F
