I purchased two clowns just over 8 weeks ago. My son named them Happy and Grumpy. Grumpy has done beautifully from the beginning with no signs of any illnesses. But Happy on the other hand has had what I thought was ich and what I thought was flukes. They've gone through 2 rounds of ich treatment because it appeared there was a second outbreak on Happy and I wasn't sure I hadn't done possible contamination. The second round I was sure and used Cupramine checking levels twice daily never dropping the concentration. They've also had two freshwater dips and two rounds of Prazipro with no flukes dropping off. Again, Grumpy has never shown any signs of illness. Then Happy got a cloudy eye during the second treatment of Prazipro so at the end of it I am now treating with antibiotic Kanaplex and Metroplex. Yet he still has these bumps..
Sorry for all the copepods, makes it hard to see. That and Happy lives up to his name and is always well.. Happy. He's never lost his appetite or energy. The majority of the bumps appear to be on his lateral line. He also has a bump on his other side, again on the lateral line. But the other bump toward his tail is new as of yesterday. I've been feeding them New Life Spectrum Thera +A .5mm pellets but always soaking it first in Selcon.
Anyone have a clue what it is?
