This is my purple tang. It’s been in my care since February 18, 2019 via Mail Order.

upon receiving, was placed in QT, 2 rounds of prazipro, and copper for 19 days. At which point, ammonia levels were detected in my QT. So a total of 26 days in QT.

It’s been doing great in the tank and all other fish are doing quite well, even the sailfin tang.

however, check that tail out. I’ll say, he came with them and while in QT they did go away. They are white on the yellow and it has some black ones on the purple top fins.

Eating, swimming all normal so I’m not overly concerned. Have never been on the body, only fins.

Thoughts?

Read this thread. With good diet and water quality it will resolve itself.
