Identify equipment?

Hello, I recently purchased a used 180 gallon aquarium and were just getting round to water testing it. I was curious if anyone could tell me why the plumbing in the overflows is different (on the left is the one with the elbow bit, and it goes to the top of the black overflow bit, and the right has the bit that goes to the middle of the height and has the thing that pulls out.)
and how these overflows work (do I have to start them etc)

Looks like tinkering by the previous owner to get the flow like he wanted. The picture on the top right is what I'm accustomed to seeing and the way mine is designed. I'm not familiar with the setup in the top and middle pictures on the left. It appears he has the return pipe set very low, so I'm not sure what he was trying to accomplish.

If you set both sides up like the picture on the right, you should not have any problem getting the flow started depending of course on how you set up your valves, plumbing, sump, return pump beneath the tank.

If you know the brand of the tank, you can probably find on-line instructions. It looks similar to the Aqueon overflows on their reef ready tanks, so you could probably use their instructions as an example.

I’ll have to see I guess. It seems like the bulkheads are glued on as well, or they’re on there good. I don’t want to twist too much and break the glass.
 
I would hope the bulkheads are not glued, but you never know what others might do. After years of compression, the bulkheads will get really tight with the glass. You may be able to get a solvent to wick between the glass and the plastic.. Even WD-40 might work.

After trying to look up the tank via dimensions and such, found out it’s 120-135 gallons? (Thanks fb marketplace, dumb on my end to not measure).
I can’t seem to find who makes it
Glass is (72 x 18 x ~24)
Frame is 72.5 x 18.5 x 24
The overflows are definitely aqueon, but the over flows are in the corner where as aqueon tanks seem to be spaced out (idk how to describe it better)
Any ideas?
