So its not going to bloom out like the colorful clams? How long will it live around? Can I keep it alive? I found it on the bottom of the rock, will the light help or hurt it? Thanks for the response.

I have a bunch of small ones, one is even growing in my Green Slimmer. I feed my corals 2x week so if they're going to live they have plenty of food. I wouldn't expect it to get any larger, they stay pretty small. JME

I have over a dozen clams on my aquacultured live rock. Some are more than 3" long. They won't be colorful, but they will do just fine if you feed your corals something like coral frenzy.
