Leathers don't really bleach, bleaching is when all the algae leaves a stony coral, leaving it white and pail. The polyps just retracted, it will be fine, if it continues for extended periods of time be concerned

Looks like a normal Sarcophyton/Toad Stool/Leather.

It's not uncommon for some polyps not to open.

Have you increased the lighting recently? Or changed old bulbs if you run T5 of MH? I find it weird that it is on the high points and not the base of the body. A little to high a flow or it is going to shed the waxy skin is another possibility. Or it could just be acting as leather do. Just keep an eye on the tissue because if something is wrong the tissue will start to jelly up or crumble like it is rotting.

I bought it 2 days ago from lfs. It went from $400 leds, to my 6 bulb t5 fixture. I'm sorry I had trouble understanding what you where trying to say. Are you saying he's too high of a level and I should move it closer to the bottom?

Polyps arnt out yet because lights just turned on

Its a Devils Hand
And it looks great
Its a Leather, and from time to time, they will shed, close up as you say for a few days. Perfectly normal.

I was saying it could be to high a light level and they could be the beginning of burn spots. Only the high spots show signs so I would keep an eye on that. As my experience with this situation is what happens when Leathers are put in too high a light level. One way to tell is move it a little lower down in the rocks or temporally place it on the substrate and see if they open. Leathers do close up for no reason but since you just got it you should not rule out light level as a possible cause. I would keep an eye on it. If it gets burned worst those high spots will turn whitish and the tissue will crumble when you rub your finger on the tissue. Normally the growth form you have if it is to wax up it will do it all over the coral and shrivel up for a few days. Not just on the high spots like in the picture.

I noticed the leather started leaking this clear gel. Is this a bad sign? I did a water change, maybe it stressed it out a little?

when was this taken, unless that's right when the lights came on that looks bad

I took it about an hour ago. What should I do?
Depends on whether or not it was bumped. I've never heard of the oozing. Seems like something is off with it, others would know better, I just can tell something is off, I'd only a few polyps were retracted its not a problem, honestly I've had leathers close for weeks and still live so it's probably fine. If it goes for an extended period of time that's when you should be concerned

Could be from to much light. The coral could be super saturated with light and after the lights go out it releases what is built up in the tissue. I would move it down on the rocks to see if the high spots open for the polyps and the bubbles stop. Flip side it could have been when you did the water change and the air bubbles got caught on the slime. The tissue still looks healthy so I would not worry to much. But I would move it down slightly.

Much better! Thanks for the advice

That is great news. The polyps came back out so I don't think you will have any lasting damage. The polyps do look a little pinched but they should heal and feather up nicely. Color is still good to.

I would however feed some fine foods if you can. Like kick some detritus up by blowing of your rocks, between them or where the rocks touch your substrate and get it into the water column. Detritus is the perfect size for this and is very nutrient dense. It is fine and will allow the polyps to continuously feed without clogging them. So you increase feeding time by not clogging up the polyps with nutrient dense food. That is good for repairing any damage.

I feed coral frenzy once a day. You think that's enough?

A good practice is to start new corals on the bottom of the tank.
Then raise them accordingly after they have acclimated.
